2. For what purpose will we process your personal data?
Purpose 1: To maintain our list of contacts:
a) As contact person in our relationship with a company or organization where you work or provide services.
b) As data subject who has contacted us to raise a query or request certain information from us, to attend that request or query.
c) As contact person for a direct relationship.
Purpose 2: The sending of commercial communications, including by e-mail or other equivalent means of electronic communication, about our products or services, and information about events, in the event that your authorization has been requested and that authorization has been granted. Should you not provide us with your personal data, we will not be able to provide these offerings to you.
Automated decisions are not taken using the data provided.
3. How long is the data kept for?
Purpose 1: The personal data provided will be kept:
a) Where you are the contact person in our relationship with a company or organization where you work or provide services, they will be kept for the duration of our relationship with that company or organization, without prejudice to the legal time limits for legal responsibilities that may derive from the relationship with the said company or organization.
b) Where you are a data subject who has contacted us, they will be kept for a period of 6 months from the moment we attended your request or query, in case further communications could arise in regard to that same request or query.
c) Where you are a contact person for a direct relationship, they will be kept for the duration of that relationship, without prejudice to the legal time limits for data retention.
Purpose 2: in relation to commercial communications, we will keep your personal data until such time as you manifest your objection or opposition to reviving such communications from us.
4. What is the entitlement for the data processing?
Purpose 1: the legal base for processing your data with regard to the maintenance of a list of contacts is:
a) Where you are the contact person in our relationship with a company or organization where you work or provide services, the fulfilment of the data controller’s legitimate interests, in accordance with article 6.1.f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
b) Where you are a data subject who has contacted us, the obtention of your consent.
c) Where you are a contact person for a direct relationship, the fulfilment of the data controller’s legitimate interests, in accordance with article 6.1.f of the GDPR.
Purpose 2: the legal basis for processing your data for the purpose of commercial communications, is the obtention of your consent.
5. To whom will we communicate your data?
During the period of processing, HITCHINGS LEGAL SERVICES, S.L.P. will not communicate your data to third parties.
At HITCHINGS LEGAL SERVICES, S.L.P. we count on the collaboration of third party service providers whose services we contract from time to time and for which services it may be necessary for such providers to have access to your personal data. In that case, such providers will process your data in conformity with all applicable legal guarantees, pursuant to our instructions and only after signing a data protection agreement in which, inter alia, we require them to process data exclusively for the agreed purpose(s), to apply appropriate technical and organizational measures and to erase and return data upon termination of the service.
